Simple Cake Recipe??

I want to make an easy cake for my mom that doesn't require super-special ingredients; just the basics, like flour, eggs, etc. Chocolate cake would be great but I'm open to any ideas! Please give ingredients and directions and make sure it is ok for an amateur cook!Simple Cake Recipe??

Buy a box....add eggs, milk, oil and bake...ta da!!!!
Get chocolate cake mix but instead of all the eggs oil water and stuff like that just add a can of diet coke to the cake mix and mix it up real good and pour it into a pan and cook it for however long the box that the cake mix came in says :) its very good and moist





Ice it with the icing of your choice

get the box mix. its really simple and easy, but it still looks nice. then look in a cook book and find a yummy frosting and make it to put on the top of the cake

Follow the directions, pop it in the oven and voila!





But add your own touch, maybe some chocolate chips in a chocolate batter.





Or sprinkles in vanilla with swirls of food coloring. Just put in a few drops and use a fork or toothpick to swirl it, so when you cut the cake, it looks like a pinata exploded!!! =D





Maybe, if you get lemon cake mix (really good) you cant put cubed pineapple in it. It taste so good and it makes you think of like an island. You can decorate it like the picture in the Source section. (1)
